Verification of Competency (VOC) documentation is required to demonstrate a worker’s ability to operate equipment or undertake responsibilities of a role. VOC documentation is a mandatory requirement for most plant and equipment roles at NRT.

NRT will accept VOC documentation from any registered training organisation (RTO) that can meet the requirements outlined below.

High Risk Work VOC

• Assessment can now be performed by any Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with the correct unit of competency (or a prior version of this unit of competency) showing in the RTO’s scope.
• Internal VOC’s will not be accepted for these competencies.
• If your high risk licence was completed within the last two years, you do not require a VOC and can instead provide evidence of your completed training. Please refer to NRT business rules regarding accepted evidence.

All other VOC

• Assessment can now be performed by any Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
• Internal will only be accepted on approval by NRT in consultation with site. Contact your site representative for more information.
